Abstract Colourful Buddha Tattoo
Abstract Colourful Buddha Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at Goa Tattoo Convention 2017. Sunny did this to enrol in the “Large Colour Tattoo” category at the Goa Tattoo Convention and he owned that award by miles. He designed this dreamy design with a lot of conviction.
The vague spiral pattern at the bottom out of which the lotus is emerging represent evolution, of how even from a dirty mud pit glooms one of the prettiest flowers in existence. The three interconnected Buddha showcase three states of mind viz the one which is serene and composed, second an agitated and restless attitude and the third which signify inertia and indifference in life. The hexagon is one of the sacred geometry seen in many natural phenomenons, it depicts Love, Truth, Harmony, Equality, Perfection, Integration, etc. By summing all the elements one is reminded of certain values and ethics which will eventually lead to peace.
The technical elements are just too perfect to point out only a single glossy part. Everyone at the convention were bewitched by the flawless blending of the colours. Share it if you like it ?
Colours Of Life – Buddha Tattoo
Colours of life – Buddha Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at Aliens Tattoo India. This client has already got a Shiva tattoo done from us but was so fascinated by our creative skeleton that he decided to go for another one. But this time he gave Sunny the creative liberty to design whatever his ingenious takes him. Sunny, without a second thought decided he want to do an elegant colour piece and worked on the concept a few days to render this gleeful Buddha with human face and Tibetan script.
The idea behind this tattoo is very profound. The Tibetan script above denotes the embodiment of compassion and empathy which has become so rare in this materialistic world. That’s why Sunny decided to keep the human faces in black and grey in contrast to colourful Buddha blossoming from the root. This tattoo is a reminder for the client to always be kind and benevolent towards others.
The composition and colour blending makes this tattoo standout among it’s adversaries. This tattoo took 12 hours of inking to brew into such high spirited artwork. Share it if you like it ?
Mandala Mantra Chest Tattoo
Mandala Mantra Chest Tattoo, collaboration tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali and Allan Gois at Aliens Tattoo India. Allan worked on the Buddha tattoo almost 6 months ago and as always he did a marvellous job. The client wanted to extend his tattoo towards chest and shoulder. Sunny worked out his magic with trash style Mrityunjaya mantra and Mandala for his extension. This complete tattoo took 3 sessions to finish. Most of the shoulder and chest tattoo is freehand work.
The design flows beautifully with the anatomy of the body. The Mandala on the shoulder-chest joint lays perfectly radial and connects perfectly, hiding the immense struggle and techniques went into it. The inversely tattooed Mrityunjaya Mantra exalts the balance of the whole tattoo. Share it if you like it.
